Has anybody considered living full time in a smallish RV as a form of tiny house living? I'm thinking along the lines of a "Class B" RV, which is the kind that looks like a converted cargo van. Advantages: inexpensive (you can find good used vans for under $20k), they get decent mileage for rvs (around 15+mpg, meaning if you don't need to drive a lot, your house could double as your car), truly portable, can be operated off or on grid according to one's wishes, and because many of these vans don't have that "I'm an RV!" look to them, parking pretty much anywhere overnight is not much of a hassle.
Seriously, what am I missing here? Space-wise, a typical 19 or 20 foot van looks to have around the same area as, say, a Tumbleweed. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
